1/2Thrilling and exciting sci-fi/action flick about an L.A. woman named Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton), who is stalked by a human-looking cyborg (Arnold Schwarzenegger), known as the Terminator, from the year 2029, who is sent back to the present to kill her to prevent the machine race from being destroyed. A man from the same year, Kyle Reese (Michael Biehn), is sent to protect her so her son can save the human resistance.
This kind of film from over 20 years ago still thrills today, with awesome chases and cyborg designs to attract you to the screen (though because it's low-budget, the way the Terminator walks kind of bugs you). Schwarzenegger may be the bad guy, but he is beyond the most fun to watch. I'd be glad to watch this and its sequels anytime.
