IMF Agent/Leader Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) returns to get a Spanish female thief named Nyah Hall (Thandie Newton) to be a team member on his mission to stop a villainous dealer named Sean Ambrose (Dougray Scott), plotting to spread a deadly virus, Chimera, on the world.
Sequel to the 1996 smash is way better then the original, with way more action and a better understanding of the story, with a sort of intense side to it. Some other critics thought the original was better; all I have to say is: they are totally out of their minds! Followed in 2006 by MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE III.
