The notorious pirate Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) sets off to get his ship, the Black Pearl, from the evil, wily Captain Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush). Brave, courageous blacksmith Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) sets off with Jack to rescue his childhood friend and love interest, Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley). Soon, Jack, Will, and Elizabeth find out a curse has been placed on the ship, making Barbossa and his crew live forever as the undead.
Entertaining Disney feature delivers lots of action and intensity, with a stellar story too. Believe it or not, I'm one of the very few who knew there would be a sequel. Followed by PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: DEAD MAN'S CHEST.
